Our Fundraising and Awareness Events
Our first annual Bleeding Hearts Ball was in 2017 at ‘The Church’, a goth/alternative club formerly held at The Lizard Lounge. This has become “the place to be” as Courts across the globe come see how we began the trend to exist as a tax-exempt charitable organization.
Our Semi-Fang Project has been our take on the semicolon project, an anti-suicide awareness project that has been replicated globally in many cities. This takes place during National Suicide Awareness Week in September.
Finally, our Krampusnacht Toy Drive is our annual December holiday event weekend (Friday at Panoptikon, The Church on Sunday) benefiting a local nonprofit that helps children.
As we begin to expand, we’ll be alternating per year between our Rainbow in the Dark queer variety show and our Angel Stakes casino night in the summertime.

Checkmate for Charity: VCD Chess Night + Tournament
The Vampire Court of Dallas® invites you to step out of the crypt and into the game. Join us this summer at It’ll Do Club on Sunday Nights for free play all night.
Don’t know how to play yet? We’ll be hosting a welcoming Learn-to-Play Chess Class, open to all skill levels, from total beginners to casual players looking to sharpen their game.
But beware—this is only the beginning. Later this summer is the main event: our first-ever Chess Tournament! Whether you’re a goth grandmaster or just moving your first pawns, this is your chance to compete, connect, and support a good cause—all in the iconic setting of The Church at It’ll Do Club.

The Vampire Court of Dallas / Fort Worth is a federally certified 501(c)3 charitable organization that seeks to empower the various alternative subcultures and perform actions that directly impact the local area. We do this by partnering with local clubs and venues throughout the DFW metroplex, as well as many local small businesses, with the goal of simply doing good in the city that we love. At the same time, we are a fully-democratic member-driven group that gives our membership a voice in the day-to-day business and future actions of the organization. While our role is steadily growing in the metropolitan landscape of Dallas, we seek to not only make a positive act locally, but also nationally, through our example of acceptance, inclusion, and diversity.
