Next month (September) will be our one-year anniversary. Four officials are up for reelection and we discussed the election process. (Link for Survey Monkey for anonymous voting can be found on Members page). the election will be run by our records Keeper, Malka.
Nine Lives at the Nines update- Vita had to back out of the event but with the help of Courtney Crave we were able to book two other acts. All performers have been confirmed. We still need table sponsors and there are still a few volunteer shifts for the event. VCA has generously donated tickets to their Ball in October. These tickets will be raffled off internally to volunteers of the Nines event.
For the VCA Ball on Saturday, October 21, there will be a road trip coordinated for VCD members that are interested in attending.
Semi-Fang update- Malka is scheduling photoshoots this week for the end of August/ beginning of September, and will be reaching out to the members that have expressed interest in being featured. If you are interested, contact her or sign up on the members’ page.
Mary and Mike updated the court on the bank account efforts. Members will be coordinating a visit to Insync Exotics after the event to visit the cats and drop off the donation.
Byron has agreed to the Toy Drive tie-in event at Pan the Friday before the Krampus Nacht event at the Church. The event at Panoptikon will take place Friday, December 15, 2017. The Krampus Society has agreed to help with the Krampus Nacht event. Also, Ghoultown has been confirmed as the headliner of the event. The event will take place Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the Church and will benefit the New Beginnings Center.
VCD members discussed a possible road trip to NOLA for the end of October to attend multiple Vampire societies’ different events as well as celebrate Rayne’s birthday.
The Mind’s Eye event was a success and there is a discussion of scheduling another one later in the year.

Charter revision E, regarding Specialists roles, was voted in.
The VCD t-shirt design was discussed and the project has been handed over to Susan to manage and relay court communications with our graphic designer. Our meeting concluded with three new members being inducted.
