Will is still working with a web designer to build a new and updated website for the VCD.
We had a total of 16 members involved in our Holiday gift exchange, which is 6 more than last year. It was a successful project and we look forward to repeating it with more members next year.
Research on getting involved with Dallas Pride in 2019 was done. Cost and needs were discussed. We will be putting things related to this project to vote at the January meeting.
We are moving forward and gathering information needed to form panels at upcoming conventions taking place in Dallas in 2019.
We still have a few slots open for volunteers for Krampus nacht. Other than that, everything else is good to go. The event will take place Sunday December 9, 2018 at the Church.
The court now has merchandise. We will be selling pins and patches at all future events and all proceeds will go to the VCD account.
Bleeding hearts: Purple Heart Ball will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Church. It will be military, black, silver and purple themed. The event will benefit the North Texas Veterans Initiative.
Two new members were voted on and inducted into membership.
Charter Rev M regarding media and induction process was discussed and voted into effect.
We are on Amazon smile. It does not cost extra and takes a portion of everything you buy through amazon and donates it to VCD.
