VCD walking in Dallas Pride was a fun success. We are looking into being a part of the festival next year as opposed to the parade.
A new lead has been voted to take charge of the Convention project. Sarah will look into VCD having a panel or table at a local convention.
Our next Education event will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019, and will center around consent and communication.
This year’s Semi-Fang project is moving forward with a few photoshoots already in the works. All photos will be published in September during suicide prevention week.
Mike requested reimbursement for the funds he used to purchase the t-shirts for the court. His request was voted on and approved.
Charter Rev P was voted in with 1 abstain and no denials.
Two new members were voted into membership.
A new specialist, Court Healer was nominated and voted on.
Our court Guardian (officer), Mikey, was reconfirmed for another year.
The Houston road trip and ball were a success.
A lot of new contacts and friends were made.
“Luck Be a Lady” will be our next event, partnered with the Bad Girls Club of Dallas. It will take place Friday, September 13, 2019, at Viva’s Dallas. It will be a Rat-Pack-themed casino night with burlesque provided by the Bad Girls. Tickets are on sale now.
